THE WILL SMITH FOUNDATION
On June 3, 2007 we lost a treasure when my son Will, 8 years old, lost his life in a tragic car accident on Maui. I truly had never met another human being as loving, compassionate, and understanding as my Will. Family, friends, teachers, and even brief acquaintances always remarked on his jovial attitude and persistent enthusiasm in every undertaking he encountered. I will always remember the gentle touch of his hand and a strong hug if he caught me sad or crying. At such a young age, he was remarkably insightful and a true humanitarian.
Inspired by this child, The Will Smith Foundation has been formed to further causes that were close to Will's heart I am determined to give Will’s life here even more meaning by bringing about positive changes that help our children grow and evolve to make their world a better place.

Following our mission statement The WSF is now in collaboration with the Comfort Area Youth Commission to bring you this monthly newsletter about both our 501 c.3 projects and goals. It is my life-long dedication to carry through what this glorious little angel would have done here on Earth had he stayed with us.
